In the role of the Regional Director of Clinical Operations, this Registered Nurse will :
- Coordinateand overseeall direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel.
- Participatein operational planning and budgeting.
- Provideguidance and counseling to coordinators and Managers of Clinical Services to assist them in continually improving all aspects of hospice care services, provided through organization personnel.
- AssistManager of Clinical Services in managing clinical teams and planning.
- Providehelp in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient and family / caregiver care to all clinical personnel as indicated.
- Assistthe Chief Clinical Officer in the preparation and administration of the organization's budget.
- Interpretoperational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume that could impact staffing levels, revenues or expenses.
- Evaluateperformance of the Manager of Clinical Services.
- Assist theManager of Clinical Services to develop skills and techniques in evaluating the performance of clinicians.
- Hire, evaluate, and terminateorganization personnel.
- Workwith the Manager of Clinical Services to conduct annual evaluations on clinicians, or more frequently if indicated.
- Overseethe maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
- Assureproper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
- Responsible for the maintenance of adequate and appropriate inventory supplies and equipment for the provision of patient services.
- Develop, implementand evaluatethe orientation program for new organization personnel. Responsible for orientation of new organization personnel, directly or delegated.
- Planand implementinservice and continuing education programs to meet education and training needs of organization personnel.
- Assistwith the evaluation of organization performance via performance improvement program, productivity, quarterly and annual reviews. Assurethe quality and safe delivery of hospice services provided through the organization.
- Assistin the development of organization goals. Develops, recommends, and administers organizational policies and procedures.
- Assurecompliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of organization personnel andmaintains compliance to the CHAP Home Care standards.
- Stayinformed about changes in the field of nursing and hospice care; shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
- Promotehospice referrals in the health care community.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer.

Qualifications
The starting salary range for this role is $102,000-$156,000 annual base salary. This range is a good faith estimate; we may pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical / dental / vision insurance and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and / or eligibility for other compensation.
