Description
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible for assisting the St. Croix Hospice Legal Department by filing, maintaining, and tracking government licenses and supporting documentation, responding to routine inquiries related to licensing, and supporting strategic growth efforts to obtain licenses
Responsibilities:
- Support the process to secure, maintain, renew and/or track licenses and applications necessary for the operation of St. Croix Hospice
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of licensing requirements; work with federal, state, and/or local agencies as necessary
- Maintains internal systems for tracking all licenses and related regulatory information
- Support regulatory questions and requests from various branches and leaders throughout the organization
- Works collaboratively with leaders to resolve and respond to legal and regulatory issues
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with and act as a liaison between government agencies and business representatives.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Paralegal degree or equivalent work experience
- A high degree of attention to detail, strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team
- Ability to effectively communicate with members of other departments in order to support their functions as well as funnel issues through the leadership team
- Ability to read and understand various legal documents
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
Salary : $94,000 - $103,000
