Organization and Team Summary:
St. David's Center is regional leader in child and family development, working to create a healthy, vibrant society in which every member fully contributes to its success. We offer therapeutic, educational, and support services, including mental health and pediatric therapies, autism treatment, home visiting, an inclusive preschool, and disability services. Over 6,500 children, parents/caregivers, and individuals with special needs access these services at our three centers in Minneapolis and Minnetonka, more than 30 partner sites, and nearly 2,000 homes across the community.
Our Community Relations and Development team is responsible for marketing, communication, public relations, advocacy, and fundraising for the organization. We hit enrollment targets, reach audiences with relevant information, position St. David's Center as a thought leader in child development and early intervention, advocate for changes in public policy and increased public funding to benefit children and families, and raise $2-3 million annually. At this time, we are also raising $35 million in capital funding to significantly increase access to assessment and early intervention services.
Position Overview:
Specific job responsibilities include:
- Build, execute, and manage a robust discovery program in partnership with the Development team.
- Effectively cultivate relationships with 100-150 corporate prospects and funders, corporate foundation staff, and individual donors.
- Solicit individuals, corporate leaders, and corporate foundation staff, through individual asks as well as givig campaigns, seeking annual support for St. David's Center as well as contributions to specific fundraising initiatives.
- Build, execute, and manage stewardship within your portfolio of donors.
- Inform the annual Development budget, provide input on ongoing projections, and track progress toward specific goals in our database.

The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of fundraising/sales experience and is deeply relational, a skilled communicator, and a proven development/sales professional who has achieved fundraising/sales results in at least two other roles. The ideal candidate is also a team player and a strategist who is passionate, engaging, driven, and sufficiently detail oriented.

Compensation (Pay/Benefits):
The pay range for this position is dependent upon qualifications and ranges from $76,648- $85,155. This salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately.

Job Qualifications:
Education:
- BA in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Experience:
- At least five years of experience achieving fundraising/sales goals, developing and deepening relationships, developing and implementing strategy, aligning with key messaging, tracking action and metrics, and effectively managing up to and partnering with senior leaders.
