Job Summary And Qualifications
The Manger maintains 24-hour responsibility of the departments and staff members assigned to the Cardiovascular Service Line.
- You will demonstrate St. David’s Healthcare I-CARE values daily and hold those within the supervised dept(s) accountable to these values to promote a healthy culture and work environment.
- You will have 24-hour responsibility for the department’s operations and staff members assigned to the Cardiovascular Service Line.
- You will work collaboratively with the Quality dept. for QA/QI data tracking and improvement opportunities.
- You will assist with developing and managing department operational and capital budgets, approvals, and ongoing maintenance of the department(s), ensuring operation in a cost-effective manner.
- You will assist with creating department strategies to achieve financial targets and staffing needs by optimizing productivity, supply/resource efficiency, minimizing incidental overtime and overtime percentage, and other areas according to department specifications.
- You will function clinically in the cath lab at a superior level and mentor staff
- You will work with the service line director to develop and implement strategic and operational/high-level projects to grow the business of the cardiovascular service line and expand the breadth of services offered by the facility to the community with secured compliance in ethical and legal business practices and accreditation/regulatory/government regulations.
- Associate's Degree minimum requirement for manager
- 2 years’ experience in a cardiovascular setting
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Technologist with one of the following credentials. RN, RCIS, RT(R)
- BLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare Policy
- ACLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare Policy within 90 days of hire
