Job Description :
- The position involves a 13-week contract working 12-hour shifts, from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with no call requirements.
- The unit comprises 25 beds, supported by a day team of 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 3 PCTs, 1 UC, 1 day manager, and 1 educator.
- The night shift team also includes 1 CNC, 5 RNs, and 3 PCTs.
- Patient ratios are 5 : 1 with PCT.
- The unit uses EMR Meditech equipment.
- Candidates with LVAD experience and post-CABG experience will be considered first.
- The typical procedures performed on the unit do not include many bedside procedures.
- The ideal candidate is team-oriented and flexible.
- Dress code requires navy scrubs; bright-colored hair and scrubs that are not navy are not acceptable.
- Be punctual by arriving at 6 : 45 AM. If no lunch is taken, report to the charge nurse and fill out no lunch forms.
- Permanent positions are available on the unit.
