Job Summary
The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for providing diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related procedures. The role includes assessing patient tolerance, implementing procedure plans, recognizing normal and abnormal characteristics, performing measurements and calculations, and ensuring compliance with protocols and guidelines.
- Qualifications
- Education & Experience : Associate Degree or higher in a related technological field, graduate of an educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, preferred : one year of previous experience as an MFM sonographer.
- Licenses & Certifications : Credentials with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), current certification in OB, RDMS in Fetal Echocardiography (FE) must be obtained within two years of hire, nasal bone certification must be obtained within one year of employment start date, basic cardiac life support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
