Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the general direction of the Facilities / Security Director, and law enforcement liaison this position is responsible for providing security for patients, employees and visitors; protecting Hospital buildings, assets and patrolling interior and exterior premises as assigned. This position is filled with currently licensed (peace officers) public law enforcement will be able to assume the role and responsibilities of their public post, in the event of a national or local emergency or other similar incident as deemed appropriate by local, state and or federal law. In the absence of Facilities / Security Director, the Peace Officer on duty would be the responsible point of contact.
