Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Cardiovascular Surgery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, developing a plan of care, and implementing and evaluating care. You will work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary care team to assure the safe and accurate delivery of care. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a hospital setting, as well as a current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. Additional certifications, such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), are required.
