Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and / or outpatients via nutrition screenings, assessments, consultations and counseling sessions. The Registered Dietitian is responsible for nutritional management and care of patients according to physician diagnoses. Prepares appropriate documentation and follow-up for same. Responsibilities will include performance improvement and assisting in department, if needed. Reviews the interdisciplinary screening process and assigns a priority level of risk for patients.
