Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 07 : 00-19 : 00, Day Shift

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience required

License : RN License

Certifications : ECMO experience required

Must-Have :

Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
Experience with titratable drips
Understanding of hemodynamics
Experience with respiratory patients : vents, BiPAP, trachs, Airvo
Experience with open-heart surgery recovery
Experience with ECMO, Impella, balloon pumps
Experience with CRRT / SLED

Job Description :

Join a specialized CVICU unit with 8 beds and a dedicated team of 25 staff members.

Work alongside a day shift charge nurse and 4 RNs per shift.

Manage patient ratios of 2 : 1 or 1 : 1 based on the care required.

Utilize advanced medical equipment : GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps.

Operate with Meditech EMR systems.

Contribute to procedures such as central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubation.

Embrace a team-player attitude, adaptability, and maintain a positive outlook.

Dress code requires navy scrubs.

Complete 4 weekend shifts per schedule for day shift.
