Position Title: ECE Head Teacher
Compensation (Pay/Benefits) Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $42,921 - $52,005 a year for full time, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately. Please inquire with interest. This position is benefits eligible, including health and dental insurance, health savings account with an employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and retirement account with matching contribution. Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Schedule varies with daily shifts between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Schedule to be determined according to center needs.

Position Overview:
The Head Teacher is responsible for the leadership, planning, and implementation of a classroom program designed to give each child an opportunity to participate in experiences that will enrich his/her development in a safe environment.
Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and St. David's Center for Child and Family Development.
Create an Inclusive Educational Environment through the implementation of St. David's educational philosophy using the High Scope Curriculum Framework.
Nurture and guide children in all areas of development including social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Encourage discovery and active learning through developmentally appropriate activities that build on individual children's strengths and needs. Actively participate with all children as a partner in play.

Job Qualifications:
Education
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in any field with 1,040 hours as an assistant teacher, aide, or student intern with 18 quarter credit education hours.
Experience:
Experience with children ages Birth to age 8 required.
Early Childhood teaching experience required.
