Position Overview
The Men’s Locker Room Attendant is a vital part of our clubhouse operations team, ensuring a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for members and guests. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, from maintaining the locker room’s pristine condition to providing personalized service that enhances the member experience.
***The golf course will be closing for a renovation in July 2025. This position is temporary, starting in late March through the end of June***
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure the men’s locker room, restrooms, showers, and related facilities are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with towels and toiletries.
- Locker Management: Organize and maintain members’ lockers, including any special requests for shoe care, laundry, or personal items.
- Shoe Service: Provide shoe cleaning, polishing, and minor repairs for members’ golf and dress shoes.
- Member Interaction: Deliver outstanding hospitality and respond promptly to member needs, ensuring comfort and privacy at all times.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products, coordinating with management for replenishment as needed.
- Additional Duties: Assist with any special events or activities within the club as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be available weekend days.
- Previous experience in hospitality, club services, or custodial roles (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing excellent member service.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of shoe care or willingness to learn (training provided).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends, holidays, or flexible shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with work load increasing and decreasing based on volume of play at the golf club.
