What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Application Analyst position at St Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital?
The Payroll Application System Analyst works closely with Compensation, IT, Finance and HR to ensure timekeeping and payroll applications are properly configured and participates in testing to ensure accurate payroll calculations. Requires strong technical knowledge of ERP system and Kronos applications. Provides ongoing analysis and problem-solving to ensure the integration of technology in effective workflow and process design. This position will assist Payroll Analyst with auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards. Responsible for balancing earnings and deduction totals, calculating and preparing general ledger entries, determining, and correcting out-of-balance conditions, balancing tax reports and researching and preparing special reports for Management. This position relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and works under general supervision.
