Develops and recommends policies and procedures relevant to the assigned department, develops positive relationships between the hospital, physicians, and community agencies, and establishes personnel performance evaluation standards in an effort to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care services in accordance with hospital mission. The supervisor investigates new techniques and equipment, develops required reports, selects and assigns departmental staff members, encourages personnel participation in continuing education activities, strives to promote personal performance quality, and collaborates with physicians regarding patient care. Supervises day to day operations to include supplies, efficiency, quality, fiscal responsibility, and patient safety. The supervisor monitors patient care and scheduling for the cardiac and vascular lab and staffing. Responsible for regulatory compliance, policy and procedure and coordinating grievance responses. #CB
