What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMA position at St. Dominic Village Senior Living?
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Rotating Days
POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensure residents receive the appropriate medications (as ordered) at the appropriate times and within the scope of responsibilities of the medication aide as defined by the State of Texas. Clearly documents administered and refused medications.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
This individual will possess the following:
- Must be certified and current by the State of Texas.
- Must have a current CPR card
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be flexible
- Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Must demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter with job duties assigned
- Knowledge of electronic medical records
- Have at least 1 year of nursing home experience preferred
