What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Medical Driver (Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm) position at St. Edmond's Home for Children?

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (80hrs biweekly)
Essential Job Functions
- To provide transportation to and from medical appointments in a company issued vehicle.
- Provides transportation for outings required for children and/or staff.
- Inspect vehicles for safety defects and/or other malfunctions and report immediately.
- Assist the medical/nursing liaison in the transfer, transport and child support during hospital and medical facility trips.
- Non-resident driving assignments as required by facility needs.
- Weekly checks of fuel, oil, antifreeze, and battery in all vehicles.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all vehicles.
- Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 10lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Must be a licensed driver for at least 5 years, at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record.
- Prior transportation and/or fleet management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
