Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is looking for a dynamic, faith-filled, full-time 3rd grade teacher for the 25-26 school year.
A classroom teacher supports student learning, growth and development through classes and duties and also supports and strengthens the mission of Saint Joseph Catholic School, to create a spiritual community of learning that educates and inspires students to reach their God-given potential.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and maintaining a positive, joyful, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment, which supports students’ independent learning, collaboration, and choice.
- Contributing in a positive way to the school environment.
- Planning and implementing effective and engaging curriculum, instruction, assessment, and classroom management for an assigned class.
- Creating lesson plans, aligned with current state and diocesan standards, which drives instruction through assessment and differentiation.
- Engaging parents and guardians in the education of their children.
- Professional conduct and adherence to all school and Diocesan policies and procedures.
- Works cooperatively with colleagues.
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned.
