This position will be primarily remote after training.
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a CDI Specialist to review physician documentation to identify opportunities for clinical documentation improvement. This person would perform reviews on Saturday and Sunday and either Friday or Monday.
- Demonstrates knowledge of documentation requirements
- Facilitates clinical documentation
- Competent utilization of EPIC, 3M Encompass / CDIS, Midas
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement
- Demonstrates responsibility for personal development
- Works in collaborative fashion with team members and other associates
- Performs other duties as assigned.
