Compensation
Job Description:
- Utilize advanced compensation knowledge and analytical skills to update, maintain, and modernizes the compensation philosophy.
- Oversee system wide annual and ad hoc compensation projects, communication efforts and documents processes.
- Acts in a leadership role by providing technical guidance on more complex compensation issues.
Benefits and Retirement:
- Oversees RFPs and the planning, implementation and evaluation of plan design and benefits strategy, associate cost share, communications, benefits fairs and open enrollment activities.
- Identifies problems and trends and recommends and implements solutions.
- Monitors compliance across benefits contracts, vendors, policies, laws and regulations and advises management on appropriate action. Ensures compliance with required filings, audits, reporting and record keeping.
- Oversees audits to ensure data accuracy. Oversees the payment of benefit billing.
- Ensures contracts, plan documents, policies and SPDs are accurate and compliant.
- Oversees the funding, legal compliance, and daily operations of the DC plans (qualified and non-qualified) and executive programs.
- Oversees annual non-discrimination testing and calculation, payout and communication of annual employer contributions
- Leads process improvement opportunities
- Develops and adheres to a compliance and communications calendar
- Conducts all plan audits, amendments, restatements, and plan corrections
- Benchmark and identify trends and recommend changes to total rewards policies (PTO, bereavement, etc) all while ensuring compliance is maintained.
- Create, update, maintain, and modernize all wellness platforms and programs.
- Utilize knowledge and project management skills to plan, develop, manage and deliver corporate health, wellness and health incentive programs.
- Streamlines and integrate wellness throughout the healthcare system.
- Develop and implement systems for tracking; Health outcomes, Cost benefit, engagement and employer and employee satisfaction/participation satisfaction
- Develops, promotes and maintains professional relationships, both internally and externally.
- Trains, develops and coaches, counsels, assigns duties and work schedules.
- Evaluates job performance and reviews performance appraisal with personnel.
- Initiates or recommends necessary counseling, disciplinary actions, termination and commendatory actions.
- Prioritizes and delegates tasks and projects within the department.
Education, Credentials, Licenses
- Bachelors degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Knowledge of compensation, benefits and retirement administration and programs
- Utilizes benchmarking and industry trends. Analyzes data and makes recommendations
- Demonstrated knowledge in personnel management
- Knowledge of Federal and state laws and regulations related to benefits and retirement plans
- Good interpersonal skills and organizational abilities.
- Expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- 5 years progressive responsibility for a variety of compensation, benefits or retirement areas
- At least 1 year of managerial experience
