Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating all equipment in an effective, safe, and efficient manner, computing and utilizing proper and safe radiation exposure factors, and ensuring all screening of patient's condition is complete prior to the initiation of the scan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners and other related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all procedures, maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control practices and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current registration as a Registered Technologist (RT) in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- CPR certification and/or BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and imaging software.
