Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ICU/ER/MedSurg nurse to join our team at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, Washington.
Key Responsibilities
- Floating between ER, MedSurg, and ICU units
- Maintaining proficiency in all areas
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year recent critical care experience
- Recent ESI Triage experience required
- Titrating drips as an RN
Schedule Information
ED start times: 0700 and 1900
CCU start times: 0600 and 1800
Every other weekend requirement
Holiday requirements as needed
Ongoing call or standby with a 60-minute response time
Scheduling based on unit needs with consideration for block scheduling
Unit Specific Information
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: ICU 1:2, ER 1:4, MedSurg 1:5
- CNA ratio in CCU is 1:10 shared with MedSurg
Additional Details
Common diagnoses include sepsis, CIWA, respiratory support, DKA in CCU.
ED handles Level 5 Trauma and cares for patients of any age with any illness or injury requiring medical attention.
Charge nurse in CCU does not take an assignment; charge nurse in ED has an assignment.
RT in house 24/7 for ICU.
