The Site Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Adult Day Care Center to ensure efficiency and strategic alignment of the Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall daily management and oversight of center operations, including transportation drivers, meals, staffing, and census. Supervision of all staff at the center
- Staff center with Human Resources accordingly to meet state compliance, ensuring that there is appropriate staffing to open (mornings) and close (evening) center.
- Administers prescribed medications and observes reactions (logs any refusal to take medication and notifies the Caregiver) Keeps Accurate and Current Medical records of the participants.
- Ensuring that the Adult Day Care Center is operating effectively, monitoring grounds (grass/snow) for cleanliness, keeping center clean, and reporting any maintenance needs to Executive Director.
- Create and manage the activity programs and outings provided to participants to ensure that activities are age-appropriate and meets regulations.
- Must make sure all forms are completed timely for billing purposes (food, attendance, transportation, and Medicaid) turned into the Administrative Offices.
- Provide nursing to ensure care is provided and medications are disbursed as required.
- Manage engagement of new participants.
- Ensure required forms from new participants are obtained prior to day one, as well as annual updates.
- Oversee cook or kitchen aide to ensure food is served properly and on time as required and ensure that proper maintenance of accurate records.
- Maintains inventory of needed kitchen, office, and other supplies, working with the Director of Operation to order as needed.
- Assist Human Resources Manager with payroll for staff at center.
- Understand and adheres to the philosophy and policies of St. Elizabeth Adult Day Care Center.
Qualifications:
- At least three or more years in a supervisory or management position.
- A nursing degree (LPN/RN) is a must!
- Interest and respect for the elderly and those with special needs with the ability to recognize and have concern for the participants’ needs, and the willingness to perform suitable services which are appropriate.
- Meet the conditions for employment as set by the State of Missouri and SEADCC.
- Can train new staff on duties as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Highly organized and proficient
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required.
- Ability to resolve any family/vendor issues or concerns timely, proficiently, and professionally.
- Ability to handle urgent issues efficiently and timely.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail; ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and exercise good time management skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
