We are currently in search of a Management Systems Officer to join our team in Herndon, VA.
Responsibilities
- Report to Direct Management Systems, MSO is responsible for maintaining the conformance of one or more ST Engineering iDirect Management System to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 and ISO45001.
- MSO may take on the additional responsibility as assigned by VP of Global Operations on one or more ST Engineering iDirect initiatives (such as, Risk Management, ESG, Business Continuity Management, Performance)
- MSO plays especially important roles by working with everyone in the company to ensure business processes are created, implemented, and maintained as well as driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain the conformance of one or more ST Engineering iDirect Management System to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 and ISO45001.
- Schedule and perform internal and external audit activities, to include pre-audit planning, audit execution and evaluation and post-audit follow-up and recommendations.
- Check the integrity of the different Management Systems when changes occurred.
- Organize Management System meetings.
- Support Management System related working group activities.
- Oversee Complaints, Control of nonconforming, Root Cause Analyses and Corrective Action activities, and risk assessment.
- Take initiative for development and maintaining of functional policies, procedures.
- Provide guidance for working instructions across all applicable sites.
- Support the improvement activities of the ST Engineering iDirect Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Collect and analyze company Performance Measures.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned, such as ConvergePoint and IMS SharePoint sites, continuous improvement.
- Ensure the integration of legal, regulatory, and other compliance requirements related to Management Systems.
- Assist in providing employee trainings to various Management Systems.
Qualifications

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field, engineering preferred or equivalent work experiences.
- 2 year experience with Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001) programs in a manufacturing and corporate environment.
- Knowledge and ability to understand and apply process audit principles (ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO27001/ISO45001/ISO13485/AS9100),
- Effective communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to conceptualize, analyze, plan, and organize projects.
- Reasoning skills for problem identification and resolution.
- Internal or supplier audit experience preferred.
- Have practical knowledge in tools and methods for performance measurement, data analysis and statistics.
- Six Sigma or Lean skills and tools exposure preferred.
- Computer literate able to utilize different software tools (MS office, MS project, MS Power BI, SharePoint, JIRA…)
- Must excel at working in a global team environment.
- Affinity with technology is an advantage.
