Who YOU are and what YOU can become
You will be working in a fast-paced environment in the Commercial Aerospace industry. We are looking for motivated, technically capable individuals who have the knowledge and experience working with large industrial and measurement equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, and freezers. Your main responsibility will be the calibration management of autoclaves, ovens, and freezers, including working with an interdepartmental team and scheduling. Secondary responsibilities include the direct calibration of hand tools, database management, and creation of procedures.
What YOU will do
- You will be performing pyrometry certifications and scheduling for autoclaves and ovens.
- You will be writing and updating calibration procedure management documents.
- You will track calibration expiration dates on the certified equipment.
- You will investigate new technology to replace aging systems.
- You will perform calibrations on both large industrial and small handheld equipment.
- You will work on packaging and shipment of the measurement systems.
- You will be logging equipment information.
What YOU must bring to Succeed
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field/ technical educational background with 5 years as a calibration technician performing calibration/repair of test & measurement equipment or equipment requiring technical services OR H.S Diploma/GED equivalent 10 years as a calibration technician performing calibration/repair of test & measurement equipment or equipment requiring technical services.
Desired Characteristics
- Familiarity of AMS 2750
- Familiarity with Metrology Standards: ISO 9001 / ISO 17025 / ANSI Z540.3; Requirement to also learn and train on existing MRAS standards preferred.
- Familiarity with Pyrometry
- Organizational Skills: Tracking using spreadsheet software and communication through collaborative software
- Technically Experienced: Have experience with digital and electronic systems; Be able to evaluate operation status
- Communication Skills: Must interact with different manufacturing groups and provide technical and scheduling information.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Estimate salary range for this role: $63,500 to $93,000 per year and will include a shift differential. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
