What YOU will do:
As our Aviation Maintenance Technical Recruiter, you'll be at the forefront of talent acquisition, scouring the skies for skilled technicians and maintenance experts. Your mission? To build a team that not only meets but exceeds industry standards. You'll be the architect of success, connecting passionate individuals with the opportunity to make a real impact in the aviation world. This challenging responsibility will be accomplished using personal relationships, national job site search platforms, social media, career fairs, community outreach, colleges, and universities.
In this Role, You Will:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for reaching out to talent in the aviation maintenance industry.
- Build a pipeline of qualified aviation maintenance professionals.
- Conduct, attend, train and speak at informational sessions, workshops, networking events, industry conferences, and career fairs.
- Source, interview, and evaluate candidates for various positions, with a primary focus on aviation maintenance roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their requirements and preferences.
- Identify and implement best practices for attracting and retaining diverse talent in aviation maintenance roles.
- Generate and maintain reports to track and evaluate the effectiveness of veteran outreach and recruitment efforts.
- Recommend employment decisions for candidates in management.
- Be aware and comply with all legal requirements and ST Engineering policies.
- Maintain confidentiality as required.
What YOU need:
- 3 years’ experience in recruiting and developing recruitment strategies, especially in aviation maintenance or a related industry.
- Deep understanding of the aviation maintenance industry landscape and technically skilled to identify and screen qualified talent.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage and inspire potential candidates.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet hiring metrics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in place of preferred education.
