Monroe Christian School in Highland Park, MI is looking for one data entry clerk to join our team. We are located on 13004 Thomson St #8. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

Data Input : Enter data from various sources into the company’s databases, spreadsheets, or other systems.

Data Verification : Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and error-free by checking for discrepancies.

Record Keeping : Maintain organized records of all entered data and files for easy retrieval.

Data Management : Regularly update and clean the database to ensure it is current and reliable.

Data Processing : Process and format data for reports, analysis, or other departments as needed.

File Maintenance : Sort, file, and organize paperwork and digital files for quick access.

Reporting : Assist with generating reports by pulling relevant data from databases or systems.

Collaboration : Work with other departments to ensure smooth data flow and consistency.

Qualifications

Attention to Detail : Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Typing Skills : Proficient typing speed (usually 40 words per minute), with minimal errors.

Computer Skills : Familiarity with data entry software, spreadsheets (Excel), and word processing tools.

Time Management : Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, especially when handling large volumes of data.

Communication Skills : Good written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and clarifying information.

Organization : Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience : Previous data entry or administrative experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Education : High School diploma or equivalent; further education or training in data management is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Data Management Software (e.g., Microsoft Access, SAP, or similar)

Familiarity with CRM Systems or other customer-facing databases

Knowledge of Excel formulas and functions is an advantage

Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $25.00 - $30.00 / hour.
