What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Driver position at St. Frances Nursing & Rehabilitaion?
St Frances Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a caring, compassionate and motivated candidate to join our team. Our professionals assist with non-emergency medical transportation of elderly individuals to routine doctors appointments or hospital discharges. Good communication skills are essential. Safety of passenger transport is of the utmost importance, and quality of care will not be compromised.
At time of interview, candidates must bring in a resume or application, Motor Vehicle Report, documents relating to job posting, examples: a CPR, First Aid, or Defensive Driving Certificates.
* Existing relationships with hospitals and nursing homes a plus.
* Nursing home experience a plus.
* Knowledge of hospitals and nursing homes a plus.
* Retired individuals encouraged to apply.
* Driving experience desired.
* Ability to lift 100 pounds.
* Must be at least 24 years old and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must enjoy working with people, and professionally maintain ongoing relationships.
* Be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
