- Assisting assigned students to understand the value of physical activity and fitness in everyday life.
- Provide direct special education instruction to students identified for DAPE services.
- Provide consultation and support to Regular Education Teachers, Special Education Teachers and Educational Assistants.
- Perform DAPE educational assessments of students as required.
- Participate in IEP team meetings, as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs for students served under DAPE.
- Complete necessary due process requirements (Assessment Summary Reports, progress reporting, IEP goals and objectives, etc.).

Job Duties: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide direct instruction of DAPE services and assessment of students. Some of the primary duties include:
District Information: St. Francis Area Schools - ISD #15 is located in northern Anoka County and southern Isanti County. We are a 45 minute drive from Minneapolis and a great traffic-free drive from every direction. We are a rural/suburban district, covering 165 square miles. Our buildings include an early childhood family center, three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and other non-traditional secondary programs. Our school district annually educates more than 4,100 students.
