Preschool Teacher's Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to join our team in a nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidate will assist the lead teacher in providing high-quality education and support to preschool-aged children. This role is essential in fostering a positive learning atmosphere that promotes childhood development and encourages children to explore their interests.

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of each child.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and organized environment conducive to learning.
• Engage with children during activities, promoting social skills, communication, and positive behavior management.
• Help supervise students during classroom activities, outdoor play, and transitions between different areas of the school.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education .

Requirements

• A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their educational growth.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively.
• Previous experience in childcare or as a Teacher's Aide is advantageous but not required.
• Students studying education are encouraged and welcome to apply.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Salary : $16 - $16
