St. Francis is hiring for Multi-Care Tech working full-time in the Emergency Room.
Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating two or more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include the following: Basic Patient Care Activities, Unit Secretary functions, performing 12 lead EKG’s. Accurately and promptly communicates with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.
This is a PRN Day position covering various shifts, which will include potential weekends and holidays.
*We do offer a shift diff pay.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Required
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a C.N.A., Medical Assistant, or be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing with successful completion of “Fundamentals of Nursing” or EMT certification
- Basic Life Support, Required
- MultiCare Tech II: One year of patient care experience required; hospital setting preferred
