Description
Job Summary
- Serves as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating basic patient care activities, unit secretary functions, performing 12 lead EKG’s, and functioning as a Monitor Tech.
- Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
- High school diploma or equivalent X Required
Licensure and Certifications
- Must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a C.N.A., Medical Assistant, or EMT
- Basic Life Support required
- Certified EKG or ECG Technician (CET) preferred
Minimum Work Experience
- One year of patient care experience required; hospital setting preferred

- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
