Are you a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for working with children and adolescents? Do you have experience in providing medical care in a school setting? If so, we are looking for a caring and enthusiastic School Nurse to join our team at St. Francis Indian School AKA Sicangu Oyate Ho Inc. in St. Francis, SD.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct health care services to students and staff
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries
- Manage students with chronic health conditions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health and wellness
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
