A 12-month contract opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse with telemetry expertise at St. Francis Medical Center.
Key Certifications:
- BLS Certification is mandatory for onboarding and must be obtained within 30 days of start.
- Nursys License is required within 30 days of start and must be maintained throughout the contract term.
- ACLS Certification is optional but highly recommended.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient plans.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide education to patients and families as needed.
Professional Development Opportunities:
- FMOLHS Skills Checklist: Required annually to ensure ongoing competency and adherence to organizational standards.
- FMOLHS Competency Exam: Must achieve a passing score of 80% or higher within the specified timeframe.
- Annual TB Questionnaire: Complete and submit within six months of contract commencement.
Pre-employment Requirements:
- MMR Immunization Proof: Required prior to contract start.
- Hepatitis B Immunization Proof: Required prior to contract start.
