We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Unit manager to join our nursing management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long – term and skilled care, nursing leadership, a commitment to high-quality care, and a passion for serving our residents to join our nursing management team.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


• Day-to-day coordinator and 24-hour over-sight of the unit. 

• Monitor resident care by licensed nurses & LNA’s. 

• Ensure resident care and documentation is in compliance with HIPPA, State and Federal regulations for healthcare. 

• Ensure physician orders are being followed, monitor medication & treatment schedules, and MDS documentation is accurate. 

• Work collaborative with other departments, assists ADON, working most closely and under the direction of the Director of Nurses.

• Assess, plan, implement and monitor resident care to ensure that care needs are being met

• Maintain confidentiality of all resident-related care information to ensure HIPAA compliance

• Provide overall supervision of Licensed Nurses, LNAs and LMNAs and the care provided to residents on the assigned unit.



Requirements

 

  • Must possess and maintain a current Nursing license and be in good standing with the State of New Hampshire Nursing Board.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Long-term care experience preferred 
  • RN or LPN with management experience.
