Summary
We are seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our team at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System. This position plays a vital role in shaping students' understanding of mathematical concepts and fostering their analytical skills in a supportive and values-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach a variety of mathematical concepts including geometry, discrete math, and differential equations.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Provide tutoring and mentoring support to students needing additional assistance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics.
- Teaching certification for grades PK-12 preferred.
- Experience in teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level is an advantage.
