Job Summary: St. Gabriel's Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospice Quality Director for our Orange Beach, Alabama location. This role requires an individual passionate about ensuring the highest quality of care and compliance with regulatory standards. The Hospice Quality Director will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program, managing infection control, and leading educational initiatives for staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage the infection control program.
- Conduct staff education and training programs.
- Analyze data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Evaluate and implement corrective action plans.
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Alabama.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospice care preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state hospice regulations.
- Experience with Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs.
- Ability to analyze data and implement improvements.
