Job Description:
St. Gabriel's Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Manager to join our dedicated team in Austin, Texas. As a Director of Nursing, you will oversee the clinical operations of our hospice and palliative care services, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the nursing staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care to ensure it meets the established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Manage the scheduling and staffing needs to maintain optimal patient care coverage.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and administrative activities.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Texas.

- Strong understanding of hospice and palliative care services.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
