Overview:
St. Helens is looking for an energetic and skilled Server to join our team!
Must be 21
Prior bartending experience is a plus!
We’re searching for someone with exceptional guest service skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service.
- Take guest orders accurately using a POS system.
- Carry a tray to run food efficiently.
- Stand for 6-8 hours per shift.
- Complete all side work duties before clocking out.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, including food pairings and specialty cocktails.
- Follow all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to enhance the guest experience.
- Keep the bar and serving area clean and organized, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a server or bartending role (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and food safety practices.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
