Will clean areas such as offices, departments, corridors, waiting areas, stairwells, elevators as well as patient rooms and treatment areas. Will handle and properly dispose of waste.
Responsibilities:
- Performs typical housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dust mopping, mopping, cleaning of toilet bowls, sinks, tubs, and showers.
- Responsible for cleaning windows, furniture, beds, and equipment.
- Will handle waste.
Requirements
This position carries no specific educational requirement. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
***Position may require valid driver’s license. May be asked to drive to sites for business related activity.
Physical Demands:
Employee will be on feet most of the day. A great deal of lifting is involved. Ladder climbing.
Work Conditions:
Work is generally in a climate controlled environment. The position may require movement to other facilities.
Interactions:
Must be able to work in a harmonious manner with all other departments. Must be able to map out assignments and complete them in a timely manner.
Hazards:
Contact with various communicable diseases, infectious medical waste and hazardous chemicals.
Salary : $15 - $18
