Caring Companion
Companions assist with activities of daily living as well as non-clinical assistance, companionship and support to residents and clients. Experienced caregivers or CNAs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience as a personal care assistant, sitter or personal companion
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Companions who drive must be 21 years of age and provide proof of state minimum auto insurance
- Comfort level accessing basic computer applications
- CNA Certification a plus
Hours
- May require working long hours or hours outside of the normal work week
- MAY BE DESIGNATED ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL IN THE EVENT OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS, INCLUDING HURRICANES, EVACUATION, FIRE, FLOOD, ETC., AND BE REQUIRED TO REMAIN ON CAMPUS FOR THE DURATION OF THE EMERGENCY

Experience
Required- 1 - 2 years: One to two years of experience as a personal care assistant, sitter, or personal companion. Experience and training as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) a plus.
Education
Required- High School or better
