- Fun – Have fun! Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.
- Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect the guest/employee experience. Demonstrate resiliency dealing with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
- Responsible for complete and accurate set-up and breakdown of the dining room in a timely manner.
- Assure the efficient smooth serving of guests in a timely manner following the appropriate sequence of service for the tap room.
- Complete all side duties as assigned by the manager or assistant manager (shift leader).
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Enter all orders correctly into the POS system to ensure a positive experience for the guest as well as protecting the assets of the company.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Ensures the proper service of alcohol by following the current laws of the state and the policies of the company.
- Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Working Conditions/Essential Functions
- Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, POS System, cash register, telephone, carts, and tables.
- Ability to complete related paperwork with minimal errors
- Ability to work independently with little direction.
- Ability to stand, bend and move for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift (up to 30 lbs.).
- Ability to observe and to give appropriate feedback.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees.
- Ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Availability to work scheduled work days, varied work schedules and holidays.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions.
- Ability to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.
- Ability to work well with other people in a timely manner, according to standards.
- Must possess the ability to move effectively and efficiently throughout the building. Including walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs and the ability to push, pull or maneuver 160 lbs.
- Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities.
- Available to work schedule work days, varied work schedules and holidays.
Qualifications and Experience
The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the assigned duties.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions.
- Good oral communications skills.
- Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, POS Systems, telephone, carts, tables.
- Must be able to work well with others and respond to people in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude at all times.
- Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
- Knowledge of all menu items, prices and general service procedures.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must complete all required company training
