Evaluates the effectiveness of the SIEM configuration and incident response procedures. Analyzes alert thresholds, incident logs, and response protocols to ensure timely threat detection and remediation.
Assesses vulnerability scanning processes and patch management practices. Reviews contracts and performance of managed service providers to determine if security patches are applied promptly and effectively.
Supports the audit team by gathering, analyzing, and organizing data from various sources. Prepares detailed documentation and work papers that underpin the audit findings, ensuring clarity and adherence to professional standards.
Qualifications: Experience with SIEM tools and incident management; familiarity with cybersecurity monitoring and response strategies; relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM).
Experience in vulnerability assessment and patch management; knowledge of IT security standards and risk management; relevant technical background.
Strong analytical and technical writing skills; proficiency in data analysis tools; experience in preparing audit documentation.
