ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take customers orders for the food and beverage.
- Serve food and beverage in a cheerful, efficient manner and in accordance with the St. Jo Frontier Casino.
- Maintain customer’s service standards applicable in the restaurant.
- Remove customer’s soiled plates as soon as the customers have finished eating.
- When no busser is present bus, clean, and reset tables.
- Take all customer complaints to the supervisor or manager present.
- Perform side-work duties on a daily basis and as assigned by the lead or supervisor.
- Clean-up server side of line in the kitchen after each shift when no expeditor is present.
- Follow cleaning lists posted weekly by supervisor and sign off on them.
- Keep work stations and floor stations clean as possible at all times in accordance with the Missouri Health Sanitation’s Laws and Safety.
- Display a positive attitude towards guests and co-workers.
- Maintain a clean storage area, assure all the equipment is in good working order.
- Maintain strict confidence regarding company related matters.
- Comply with company and department policies and procedures.
- Responsible for clocking in and out on time according to work schedule and reporting 8% of your reported tips and signing in daily on a sign-in sheet.
- Responsible for maintaining the personal hygiene standards set by the Food and Beverage Department and in accordance with the companies’ hygiene standards.
- Perform any other duties as apparent or assigned by a lead or supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have excellent customer service skills.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Gaming License, and a Servers License
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
