The Security Officer protects company assets and provides a safe environment for employees and guests. This position offers a $1,500 Sign On Bonus!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):
- Safeguard assets of the company.
- Enforce company security regulations and security department policies and procedures as directed by the Safety and Security Manager, Shift Supervisor or Lead Officer.
- Perform all security-related duties for the casino
- Escort all transfers of money and/or chips
- Patrol all casino sections to identify safety hazards and breaks in security.
- Conduct investigations on reported incidents as directed
- Investigate employee fraud against the company and customers as directed
- Investigate accident reports as directed
- Any reasonable request made by Management
- Meet job attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter
- Perform all job functions safely and responsibly.
- Maintain proper department uniform, appearance, and grooming stands.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must know all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous public relations and/or hospitality security experience is desirable.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Gaming License.
SKILLS
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods regardless of weather conditions.
- Must be able to work effectively with co-workers and a team.
