Job Overview
St. Joan of Arc Catholic School, a ministry of St. Joan of Arc Parish, Toledo, is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Principal to serve as the educational and team leader for over 45 teachers and staff, and more than 375 students from pre-school through eighth grade. The start date for this position is July 1, 2025. Recognizing that each child is made in the image of God, our school seeks to form our students to be “Saints, Servants, and Scholars.” Our Catholic identity is at the heart of everything we do.
The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church, hold valid Ohio licensure and preferable to have or be working toward a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Catholic education, have experience in administration and demonstrate that experience through professionalism, communication and goal setting skills, creativity, and energy as a Principal-Minister. Candidates must be able to demonstrate and embrace the use of technology, social media and creative instruction.

Responsibilities

- Lead curriculum development initiatives to enhance educational programs.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, aligning with strategic planning goals.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders through fundraising and community engagement.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, promoting professional development and effective teaching practices.
- Communicate regularly with parents and the community to support student success.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
