St. John Chrysostom Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, faith-filled educator to join our school community as a part-time Spanish teacher, with the option to also serve as a part-time aide for the 2025-2026 school year. This educator will plan, organize, and implement a standards-based Spanish program in a Catholic learning environment. The ideal candidate should be proficient in the use of technology and open to communication with administration, students, parents, and colleagues.
Key responsibilities include teaching Spanish, supporting students in their learning, and contributing to the positive school culture. The educator will be responsible for fostering academic progress and upholding high academic and behavioral standards in the classroom. The role may also include assisting in other areas of the school as needed.
St. John Chrysostom is located in the city of Inglewood, which is becoming a central hub for music, sports, and culture.
Requirements:
- BA in education or a related field.
- 1-3 years of teaching experience or experience working with young children.
- Ability and knowledge to teach Catholic religion classes.
- Credentialed or open to pursuing credentialing.
