What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher/Teacher position at St. John Lutheran Daycare?
SJLD is looking to add to our team! For over 20 years, SJLD has provided a nurturing, fun and safe environment for children to socialize, learn and grow!
Responsibilities:
Provide quality inclusive care
Implement a written plan of daily activities
Set up and maintain an appropriate classroom environment for young children
Provide appropriate developmental activities for the children
Help keep up-to-date developmental records of children in the class
Report to parents about child's progress via our Parent Engagement App & in person
Be aware of, and comply with, all personnel policies put in place by SJLD
Be fun, energetic, and dependable

Applicants:
Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Pediatric First Aid/CPR (will assist in completing)
SUIDS/AHT and Child Development Training (will assist in completing)
Ongoing annual training to meet licensing requirement (will assist in completing)

Our team members work 4 days per week for 10 hours per day! No Holidays & No Weekends!
