St. John Paul II School is seeking a full-time Theology teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at our campus in Ridgeland, South Carolina. We seek applicants with a degree in Theology from a Catholic college. Youth ministry and mentoring experience are strongly recommended.
Candidates must demonstrate enthusiastic support for our Catholic witness and mission, zeal for the whole truth of the Gospel, and a deep desire to help our students know themselves in the light of God’s love. The candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and a faith-filled witness to Christ.
St. John Paul II School is seeking dynamic, goal-oriented teachers who choose to work in a faith-based community.
We have a one-to-one laptop program that integrates technology into teaching and learning with teachers and students using laptops on a daily basis in the classroom. Applicants must be willing to teach in this integrated technology classroom environment.
Start date is August 4, 2025.

- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Foster communication with students and parents to support academic and social development.
- Provide individualized support for students with diverse learning needs.
- Mentor students in their personal and spiritual growth, integrating religious and theological principles into lessons.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide feedback for improvement.
