Job Description:
Responsible for providing supportive services to hospital Administration and Medical/ Dental/ Podiatric/AHP Staff. Assists the Medical Staff Manager in ensuring that the operation of the department is in accordance with the Medical Staff policies, Bylaws, Rules & Regulations to assure that only qualified practitioners provide care in the Hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support services to Hospital Administration and Medical Staff
- Assist with Credentialing process
- Maintain knowledge of privileging and credentialing process for medical staff members and allied health members
- Process all Medical Staff and Allied Health Staff credentialing and re-credentialing applications
- Maintains confidential credentials files and electronic medical staff databases
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Associate's Degree preferred
- 5 years Secretarial/Office experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years in a Medical Affairs Department preferred
- Experience in MIDAS Credentialing program preferred
Salary : $27 - $28
