Pay: $47.34587 - $54.87013 / Hourly
Responsibilities:
- Administer radioactive chemical compounds
- Perform patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation
- Accomplish computer processing and image enhancement
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation
- Monitor patients' conditions and reactions during the scan, reporting abnormal signs to the physician
- Perform complex PET exams, consulting with Radiologist for appropriate scan procedure
- Keep track of safety measures to protect patients while performing scans
- Ensure equipment is in roper working condition. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot
Requirements:
- Diploma from a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB and/or AART-N
- NMTCB(CT) and/or ARRT(CT)
- NYS License required
- Minimum 2 years' experience
